Creative Help is undertaking feasibility and business case development for a new comprehensive ticket service designed to meet the needs of event, festival, tour operators and conference planners working in rural communities.
Uniquely Creative Help will utilise the online platform SimpleTix combined with the power of expert locally based social media support, box office management and key local media partners all working seamlessly to drive footfall and sales.
The proposed business model
Creative Help Tickets will be a cost effective straightforward box office service. Costs are covered by a flat 10% booking fee (minimum fee £1) or a 10% service charge to the promoter, tour operator or conference planner. A £20 + VAT setup fee for each event is charged for events that sell 50 tickets or less.
Creative Help Tickets will also offer a tailored ‘Point of Sale’ setup and support service including: ticket printing, desk top support and call out services. Branded kiosk Point of Sale systems (including card reader, printer and touch screen) for an estimated £1,850 + VAT. Option to place kiosks in community halls, local shops, leisure centres, transport hubs, Tourist Information Centres and venues.
It is proposed that each geographic community will have its own branded service and locally based contact/ social media marketer.
Creative Help Tickets is working towards a phased 3 year rollout across the Highlands and Islands from early 2016, identifying and prioritising most receptive areas first.
